Cafe frappe was a cold coffee beverage that became huge in the cafes of 19th century Europe, a crowd favourite drink similar to slushes or iced coffee. Perhaps coffee frappe came from the frappes of 200 years ago. However, the modern version owes its origin to the International Trade Fair of 1957 in Thessaloniki when the Greeks invented their version of the coffee frappe using instant coffee.
Now, a frappe is better known as an ice-cold beverage that is shaken and blended/beaten to produce a refreshing drink that is tasty and frothy. It is a perfect drink for the summer to hang out by the pool, beach, or even the backyard.Â

Step 3: Making the Mixture
Check your preferred cup of brew to check if it has chilled. If yes, then pour it into a blender, and add approximately 50 ml of milk per cup of coffee and sugar to taste. Throw in a couple of ice cubes per cup to get the cold consistency.
Step 4: Blending the Mixture
To blend the mixture, we suggest you begin on low speed. Slowly increase the speed to high and blend until smooth.
Step 5: Enjoy your Frappe
